All 8 Mega Man Dual Override Robot Masters
Every confirmed and leaked Mega Man Dual Override Robot Master, kept apart by source and confidence.
What this section covers
The eight Robot Masters of Mega Man Dual Override: who has been confirmed, what the leaked roster says, how the fan design contest produced one of them, and why the weakness chart on this site is still empty.
That last point is the section's whole editorial stance. A Mega Man boss list without a weakness order is less useful than a list that admits it does not have one yet. Every page here separates what Capcom has shown from what a data leak implies, and both from what the community hopes.
Eight bosses, all new characters
Capcom's press material states that the game introduces eight new Robot Masters and that all eight are new creations rather than returning series regulars. That number has been consistent across every announcement since the reveal.
Two have been named officially:
| Boss | Status | What is actually stated |
|---|---|---|
| Twinkle Girl | Confirmed | Apprentice entertainer robot on a fireworks rampage; first boss revealed |
| Jet Man | Confirmed | Leader of a flight team; stage is set aboard a large cargo aircraft; drops the Jet Stinger |
| The other six | Unknown | Capcom has not named them |
The remaining six are where this section earns its keep, because a leaked Steam achievement list names them and that list is unusually credible — it matches both officially announced bosses exactly. It is still a leak, and it is labelled as one on every page that touches it.
What the leak actually claims
A circulated achievement list names eight bosses: Boat Man, Build Men, Cleanser Man, Cook Man, Jet Man, Sand Woman, Tank Man and Twinkle Girl. Two of those are officially confirmed, which is why we do not dismiss the list; six are not, which is why we do not repeat it as fact.
The honest framing is a probability statement, not a roster: the leak is corroborated on two of eight entries and unfalsified on the rest. If Capcom reveals a third boss that is not on the list, the whole list collapses. That is a real possibility and we will say so until a third name is official.
The design contest, and why it matters here
One of the eight is a fan design. Capcom ran a Robot Master design contest, shortlisted six finalists, and the winning entry — Cleanser Man, by a Brazilian creator — is reported to appear in the game as a full boss.
We treat the contest result as Unverified rather than Confirmed, even though it is widely reported. The reasoning is on the page itself: we could not trace the result to a Capcom publication, only to consistent community reporting. This is precisely the sort of fact that gets upgraded the moment an official page carries it, and we would rather be late than wrong.
The contest pages are also the most useful part of this section for readers who arrived from a "who won the contest" search — that query has real volume and almost no structured answer anywhere.
Why there is no weakness chart
A Mega Man weakness wheel is the highest-value table this site could publish, and it is also the easiest to fake. Naming logic gives you maybe seventy percent accuracy — fireworks boss weak to water, ice boss weak to fire — and seventy percent is worse than nothing, because the thirty percent that is wrong is what a stuck player follows.
Everything about weaknesses is Unknown until the game is playable. What we do know is that beating Jet Man grants the Jet Stinger, described officially as a dash that connects and knocks enemies back in a chain. That tells you a weapon exists and roughly what it does, not what it is strong against.
The moment we can test the wheel ourselves, this section gets a matrix with a confidence column per row.
Where to start
- Just want the list: the Robot Masters hub page puts confirmed and leaked names in one place, clearly separated.
- You saw a name somewhere and want to know if it is real: the leak breakdown gives the source and confidence for each.
- You want to know who the third boss is: the 3rd Robot Master page explains why nobody can answer that yet.

Three mistakes we see most
Treating the leaked roster as a confirmed list. It is corroborated, not confirmed. The difference matters the moment one name turns out to be wrong — and a site that presented all eight as fact has to retract everything at once.
Assuming the eight are the whole game. Eight Robot Masters is the confirmed count for the main roster. Whether a fortress or final sequence adds bosses is Unknown, and the classic series pattern is not evidence.
Expecting returning bosses in the main eight. Capcom has said the eight are new. A returning character appearing elsewhere is possible — Astro Man has been raised from trailer footage and is marked Unverified — but not as one of the eight.
What eight bosses implies about the stage structure
The confirmed count of eight Robot Masters is a structural fact, and it constrains how the game can be laid out — which is useful when evaluating claims about stage order.
Eight bosses means eight selection targets. In this series that has historically meant a stage-select screen with eight entries, and the three-areas-per-stage claim in previews (marked Unverified here) fits that shape: three areas, a mid-boss, and the Robot Master at the end. What does not fit is the idea that a stage is one continuous run with a single checkpoint, because that would make eight stages unusually short for a full-price release.
None of this is confirmation. It is the reason we treat "eight stages, boss order free" as the working assumption and mark it as an assumption.
How we will verify the roster on day one
When the game installs, four things get checked in order, and each one closes a specific page in this section:
- The stage-select screen. Eight entries confirm the count and give us the names, which closes the roster question entirely.
- The first boss encounter. Its weakness reveals one edge of the wheel, which is enough to start the matrix.
- The weapon each boss grants. Names and behaviours get logged per boss, replacing the single confirmed entry (Jet Stinger) with a full table.
- The achievement list. This is the moment the leaked roster is either corroborated or falsified, and we will say which in plain language on the leak page rather than quietly deleting it.
Until then, every page here keeps its labels and its check date. A boss list that is right about two names and honest about the other six is more useful than one that is confidently wrong about eight.
